Leonardo da Vinci was vivid on April 15,1452, in Vinci, Italy. He was the son of a skew-whiff Florentine notary and a peasant woman. Leonardo lived with his grandfather until he was five years old. His fathers name was Ser Piero and his fetch was named Caterina. Leonardos beat and father were not actually matrimonial, so his father wed another woman named Albiera di Giovanni Amadori. In his early teens, Leonardos family settled in Florence. Once they settled in Florence, Leonardo was provided the best fosterage Florence could offer. In 1466, he was apprenticed to Andrea del Verrocchio, the leading painter and carver during that meter.
