Henry W. Grady: Grady was an orator, a journalist, and he was the one who invented the term the virgin South. Grady wrote for the New York Harold, and then later on switched to the capital of Georgia Constitution and became its editor. Also, he preached to the virtues of a New South and told Southerners to prove reconciliation with the North. He did this because, he wanted to unite entirely Southern dusters into one party and then an amalgamate it with the fiscal and industrial with battle of Atlanta as the base of operations. W.E.B. Dubois: He was born on February 23,1868, and died in August 27,1963.Dubois was an educator, and editor, and an author.



He was a professor of economics, history, and sociology at Atlanta University. Dubois is also the founder of NAACP. The NAACP stands for the National Association for the Advancement of sour People. He wrote the The Souls of Black Folk, and edited the Encyclopedia of the Negro. Dubois was a leading African American spokes serviceman.
